GLOWHAGTOR

Miss Ernestina Oforiwaa Koduah is the Head of Glowhagtor, a department under Glorious Women’s Linkage. She is a professional teacher, mentor, nurturer, and entrepreneur with a strong passion for girl-child education and leadership development.

As Head of Glowhagtor, Ernestina provides leadership and direction for the department’s activities. We work to inspire leadership in young girls by promoting access to education, mentorship, and empowerment, particularly within underserved and rural communities.

We believe education is key to raising confident, purpose-driven female pioneers. Through our programs, we educate and empower young girls to pursue their academic aspirations and become whatever they desire to be, while also raising awareness on issues affecting the girl child.

This department’s activities are geared towards educating girls and empowering them to pursue their academics and become whatever they desire to be. Our activities also include educating the general public on issues affecting the girl child and women.

Our yearly activities include organizing a talk show on education and social issues relating to girls in a selected town or village at the beginning of the year, during which opportunities are given to the girls who fall into these four categories for support:

  • Girls who have dropped out of school or cannot attend due to lack of finances.
  • Girls who are in school but need extra financial support.
  • Girls who have financial support but need mentors to guide them academically.
  • Girls who need help to learn a trade.

GLOWHAGTOR works with them throughout the year by providing what they need based on their category. We also organize forums to educate parents and the public on giving equal opportunities to girls as boys. In addition, we host quarterly educational shows in selected schools or communities to shed light on issues affecting girls and women in all spheres of life.
